MY PEERS, Jonathan Lopez & Miguel Rodriguez
Jonathan's shots do a wonderful job to capture his playful and unique spirit. Through his low angle shot we get a interesting angle, this invokes a fun outgoing approach to the shot. With the eye level shot i felt as if i was face to face with the subject. The extreme close up left me in awe, by taking into account lighting Jonathan did a great job capturing all the colors in the eye. And lastly, the follow shot really embodied the movement that was taking place.
Miguel's pictures were filled with unique subjects, making his pictures different from the rest. By changing subjects and background it kept me interested with what i was viewing. With the establishing shot i felt as if i was under those same trees feeling the wind on my face. The close up shot of the apple invoked hunger due to it looking fresh and red. The high angle shot was very interesting to view due to its unique birds eye view. I felt as if i was a bird watching the boy play basketball. And finally, the head-on shot showed movement really well. I felt as if i was about to be ran over and found myself tensing up.
Over all, both of my peers presented the shots in their own way and did a great job.
